Hi, I’m Kellee — and my journey into accountancy didn’t start in a typical way.

I began my career as a hairdresser, but quickly realised that long hours, apprentice pay, and being on my feet all day weren’t quite right for me. So I swapped my scissors for a swivel chair, traded in salon chatter for spreadsheets, and began the path to becoming a Chartered Accountant — a journey that took six years of study and hands-on experience advising business owners on their finances and tax.

But the pull of the wellness industry never left me. A few years later, I retrained as a beauty therapist, working both for myself and in a well-known spa, even creating an online space to sell beauty products.

After having two children, I was fortunate to find an opportunity that aligned with family life — running an accountancy firm around school hours. And now, I get to combine the best of both worlds: my deep understanding of the hair and beauty industry with my expertise in accountancy.
